This gym was infamous for not having any trainer battles prior to facing its leader. Instead, you had to pass a grueling military style training course, which led to a very low rates of badges being given out, let alone people even reaching the battle stage, with most people quitting or passing out from exhaustion. The twist? The gym leader is a balding, obese armchair general who used eating as a coping mechanism after being put in a wheelchair. Zoomers on social media have taken to calling him Meal Team Six, much to his chagrin.
