It’s still a Gen V dex while avoiding excessively big evolutionary chains and unappealing fillermon shit to fulfill design orders like “we need more yellow Pokémon” or “we don’t have enough ghost representatives so let’s make this obvious water type jellyfish a ghost even though its creator is against it”
