>>48449552>>48449449Box and deathbox are wildly out of date, sorry. Too much in both for me to try and catch up on. I'll try update more frequently as to avoid this issue.
Damn, what a finale.
After losing most of my strongest pokemon to Blaine/Blue and a few tough trainers here and there, I thought I was screwed.
My last few encounters were Rapidash, Tangela, Sentret and Magmar. So I figured i'd try and piece together this rag-tag sun team.
Was a very back and forth fight with Red, mostly due to berries he had his Pokemon holding that were weakening my supereffective Grass/Fire moves. I'd kill something, then he'd fire right back after surviving with half or less HP.
Near the end, it was just Louie and Latte left, with Louie in, VS Venusaur and the Espeon waiting in the back. Wasnt looking good.
Clutch crit on Venusaur by Louie meant he was able to OHKO it through its berry with fire blast. Unfortunately thats where his story ends, being one shot himself by Espeon's Psychic.
After that, Latte the Furret goes in. I use Super Fang to get the Espeon to at least half, knowing Latte could live one attack with its Focus Sash. Espeon goes for Reflect, not ideal as now I dont think Sucker Punch would do enough for the kill and might put Espeon into the red and force a Full Restore from Red, which would guarantee a loss after my sash breaks with Reflect still up.
Super Fang again puts it at 25%, Espeon Psychic breaks Latte's sash. I Sucker Punch next turn, praying that he doesn't heal.
He doesn't. Sucker Punch goes off and I win, leaving Latte as the sole survivor and MVP.
