Took an extended break because in my last Sapphire run, I got all the way to Steven... and lost. I needed some time to recoup, so here I am back now.
The run's off to an already pretty rough start, because Roxanne's Nosepass completely fucked me, killing my starter and one of my two Zigzagoons. Also got a lot of duplicate encounters and finding a Whismur on Route 116 was pretty disappointing, since its a guaranteed encounter in Rusturf Tunnel and it locked me out of getting something interesting on that route instead. Still, not everything is bad because the Pickup economy is in full swing, and I caught a Slakoth, which is pretty pog. (Also I typically write bios for these goons, but I save it for when we have a solid team of six.)

>>45805299IMO, do whatever you have to do to get the dub. There's other solutions, like one anon said you can use Gastly (also if you have the ability to get Gengar, or even just use Haunter, you can teach that bad boy Psychic and Koga becomes a walk in the park).
