I don't why, but friendship gain in this game seems to be slowed down to a crawl, I've done pretty much everything thus far to increase my Riolu's affection, I gave it a soothe bell, fought with it, let the stylist take of it and I even used it as a lead to get more friendship and it's still at 100, I noticed early there was something weird with the system when I noticed my Munchlax also wasn't evolving, I don't know why it's like this.
