In my 6-7 years browsing /vp/ I've never once witness anyone justify their position that a Pokemon should have it's typing changed (Prior to this thread, of course). The types suggested always match the Pokemon's color scheme, and since I don't give a Rattata's ass about stats and movesets or any of that technical garbage, I made the assumption /vp/ only chooses types based on color scheme. Which despite the few examples to the contrary ITT, it's the most likely scenario, but hey, what do I know? I'm just a filthy fucking casual who only plays Pokemon for fun and doesn't care about optimization.
