>>45141842>download paint.net or any other image editing software that has a layer system>grab a template like pic related and put it on one layer>create new layer above template>copy tiles from tileset image onto said new layer, using the template as a reference so you know how many tiles each graphic takes up>if you run out of room with the template, simply expand the image by some multiple of 16 and copypaste more of the template into the new space>once you're done, simply delete the template layer and double the image size so it's compatible with RPG Maker XP >make sure the background is either transparent, or the background uses a color that none of the tiles have. if you do the latter you'll have to manually import the tileset into RPG Maker so just go with the latter.importing tiles can take a lot of practice but once you know how to do it, it's not too bad. Still kind of time consuming, though.
