In Modern Mode you can get Larvesta as early as Viridian Forest.
Unfortunately they didn't balance the catch rates out, so catching it with a regular Pokeball is damn near impossible.
This thing was a pain in the ass to catch, but it's Modest nature and will eventually turn into this ->
