On my third attempt and made it back to misty again, I have guts swellow and raticate again but my elekid died. I'm thinking of running beedrill instead of swellow for misty since everyone has aura beam almost, but maybe i shouldn't risk beedrill since it might be good for erica (because of its resists) but maybe that's thinking too far ahead. I will have to hope grovyle, gloom or electrike can take down starmie.
