Should've been a simple sweep, and then I also just made a dumb mistake: I forgot that the rain was still up, enabling all these Hurricanes in the first place,
Swift Swim ensured that Seismitoad was faster than Emolga, and that was lights out
The safest solution was to just switch into Golisopod and brawl with it (although it might've switched into a Liquidation Def drop now that I think about it), and it just... didn't occur to me at all
I just straight up forgot that Seismitoad was really fast and well, lost a valuable mon for no reason other than my mind going blank
I'm just slightly annoyed with myself, because that was a blunder, but... I also know I can get a Pichu encounter (as a gift egg) pretty soon, and Raichu can also LightningRod + Encore stuff just like Emolga
In any case, we can finally make it past Lilycove City, start exploring, get more encounters, and then the end really is in sight
