Not sure what we plan to do on it, but it doesn't really go far enough to serve any real purpose. Even if we add a plot even there.
Coal town makes sense thematically and helps tie the industrial region further with the ice region. And we can always come up with plenty of BS reasons the player can't use it that early.
The train tracks could just cut also just through the mountain so we wouldn't have to rearrange the entire map. Train could be like a mini warp zone.
