You're wrong if you think that honor goes to the Pokemon Colosseum protag. While he does start off as a badass, I have evidence that he immediately becomes a shitty character. As soon as he meets the orange-haired girl, she forces him down a boring linear road of ONLY snagging shadow pokemon and being a mute hero.
