I am here to remind you that the Pokémon Franchise has been rotting for a while now, and that things aren't going to get any better, no matter how much hope, faith or delusion you put into it.
I know that, for some of you at least, you are better than whales, waifufags & dogfuckers. So quit while you can, or remain for the few remnants of Pokémon that aren't completely worthless, such as going back to older Generations, playing the occasional fangame if it unironically isn't bad, or possibly just enjoying battling through the likes of Showdown. You have a backlog worth of monster collecting games to sink your teeth into, and you could rediscover the wonders of going through something new in the monster taming genre, with just a bit of willpower.
