Just now I got a japanese Larvesta male with 4 IV except At and HP. I gave him a NICE and sprinkled him with O power, then initiated a trade. I just spammed him with other 4 IV bug types, and he eventually gave me a 5 IV male Larvesta in response.
I now have a perfect IV mating pair of a foreign male/my female Larvestas to breed a shiny....
At worst it could be 4IV....
and a percentage of only 19/96 for a perfect shiny! Or 19/192 for a perfect shiny female!
Not even taking into account the odds of any of them being shiny!
Such great odds!
