I didn't expect to be able to afford a switch at all and I was so happy last week when I hit some money and could buy one, then loved the first game I got for it. I've loved pokemon for so many years and was so happy for that I'd be able to get the new one, it would have been so easy to convince me to buy this game. I was actively searching for any reason to buy it despite all the negative things I heard, and every new bit of news and the eventual streams just hurt more and more.
I think I'm angry that I know how easy it would be to trick me into buying this game and I can imagine all the people that were in a similar situation being just tricked like that.
