this weird ass game was dumb as hell but the story was well paced, you got bites of plot throughout a standard gym challenge instead of a huge dump near the end, some of the past pokemon designs were neat most of them were bad though and it used time travel in a way that wasn't terrible. it was also short and pretty easy, but holy shit can this guy not design maps worth a damn, not talking about bad looking tiles I mean surf tiles not working in certain spots, gaps in rocks that let you surf to an endgame area way too early, just bad job at maps. also the tone of the game outside of the story was youtube poop levels of insane, some rival's battle theme was some song from Epcot, universe of energy, and I still don't know why. It also murders my desire to do postgame with it's final ending twist where your full team stays behind as part of a deal with the final big bad as payment and that stupid bitch in the end credits gives me a level 5 eevee as if that's cool. anyway cool schizo game C+ but can't really recommend unless you're desperate for something weird
