BW/2 are, ironically the most KANTOOOOO of all generations. 90% of the Pokedex is a pale echo of something from Kanto. The only real addition in 2, in lieu of a proper Battle Frontier, is a simple nostalgia wank in the PWT- nothing original, just "remember the thing?"
What little isn't taken from Kanto is taken from Sinnoh (the yugioh dragons). It's no surprise such uninspired, forgettable games marked the lowest point in the franchise's history.
