I used to lurk the Pokémon General threads on /v/ to learn about the meta. I learned about breeding and I decided to try it. Somebody traded me a Piplup to start. I bred for weeks and dropped the project prematurely because it took for-fucking-ever. So, I'd been lurking /wfg/ since beginning of fifth gen. I loved seeing when people finished their projects, and I used to give out poorly-bred starters to people who came asking for them.It feels really good to be able to participate, now.
