Malarus- Tiny Bird pokemon. Normal/Flying, has three evolutions. Evolutions depend on where you are. Dex entry: Renowned for it's singing, Malarus will fiercely defend it's patch of territory and create wondrous melodies to scare off intruding pokemon.
-Design based on a splendid fairy wren, tried to incorporate colours from all three evolutions. Not sure how well that worked! Name from genus name Malurus (im lazy)
LEFT:
Melaire: (can't think of a descriptive name). Normal/Fire, evolves when in an arid part of the country. Dex entry: Melaire set the red patch on their back alight to fight for territory, with the Melaire that sets it's opponents home alight winning. (shit entry but eh, can be tweaked. Basically-vicious little buggers that torch each others homes)
-Design based on a Red-backed fairy wren. Name from melanocephalus (species name) + fire.
TOP:
Coronal: Far seeing pokemon. Dex entry: Said to see the future, Coronal will sing haunting melodies when in the vicinity of someone about to be in a terrible accident.
-Design based off a purple-crowned fairy wren- the purple top just looks like an eye to me,
idk.Name from genus name coronatus, cornea & pre-evo name.Rings are based on the importance of circles in chakra (couldn't think of anything else & the eye made me think of the third eye chakra). Not sure about the gem, maybe a focus for it's powers? Might add a gem in to other evos that act as a focal point or might just remove it entirely.
RIGHT:
Leucrid: Turbulent pokemon (fuck i don't know). Dex entry: Waiting by the side of it's river home, Leucrid dazzles prey with the light reflecting off it's ever-flowing tail to aid hunting.
-Design based off a White-winged fairy wren & a little from a Splendid fairy wren. The white wings & blue body made me think of the clouds of froth coming off rapids.
