legendries and similarly rare pokemon are obviously not an option.
assuming we live in a world like ours, then we wouldn't get a gifted starter pokemon just for fun, so starters are not an option either.
because of where i live, tropical, deep-sea, space, ultra beast, etc. aren't an option.
most pokemon that need special stuff for evolution be used either, because the stones or whatever would be VERY expensive.
>Leavanny
Sewaddle would be one of the easiest to catch pokemon ever.
literally just walk around the forrest until you find one in the forrest, bait it with food and catch it (you can't just kick it's ass, because it needs high friendship for the final evolution)
>Lopunny
Buneary would also be easy to find.
and, while i could probably kick it's face in and catch it, i now have a Swadloon and can play by the rules to catch it instead.
>Mudsdale
catching a wild Mudbray is probably impossible but buying one from a farmer? pretty easy and probably pretty affordable too. i have probably won a few trainer fights by now so, while cash isn't abundant, it would also not be such a massive obstacle anymore.
evolving Mudbray would also allow me to travel further.
>Gastrodon
with a Mudsdale on my side, traveling to the coast would be simple. (taking a car or a bike would be too, but that would defeat the purpose...)
catching a Shellos is just walking up and down the beach until i find one.
>Noctowl
Hoothoot is literally just an owl. Since i'm traveling now, it wouldn't be hard to find one at night.
evolve it, and now i have all-terrain vehicles. and a decent team to make money.
>Mega Gardevoir
this is where i spend my grind on. finding a Ralts is just a google-search and a long ass journey away.
evolving it to gardevoir would take some time, but not nearly as much as a Dragonite would take.
mega-evolving it only costs money and """spending time with her"""
