XD/Colosseum were better than X/Y in almost every way, barring square shadows. Better music, better graphics, better implementation of 3D, no Fairies, no forgettable as fuck story mode, the best villain in the franchise, doing something different in a way that isn't complete shit... it was so much better it makes me nostalgic for the simpler times before we knew how bad X/Y were.
