>when your plaza resets people, look for people wearing bright colored clothes (like red,yellow,etc.) or just ask everyone in general

And for those of you wondering, you need to put a facility in the first slot of your plaza for people to be able to buy it off you. So if you're lucky enough to get a 5 star shop in your slot, go to the construction worker in the castle and switch the facilities around.
