I understand the strong bond gives some level of intuitive understanding of one another so why not have both? The ability to understand one another from a look or glare and talk with one another more candidly? Real couples are a lot like that in real life. Just a look can say a lot or just a single word, but they also can have regular conversations with one another and others.
