I don't because as mentioned, it's not like they've completely redesigned Charizard, Mewtwo, Incineroar, Pikachu, Lucario, Bulbasaur - you know ACTUAL popular pokémon to better make their merch sell but surprise, surprise, the internet's least-liked Johto starter, the internet's least liked series Water starter but not the internet's least-liked Grass starter, no. They pick the one the high school NPC's identified with to the point they made it win a section of a pokémon day poll (which got routinely ignored by Game Freak, as greninja got overall #1, but didn't get near a Switch game until 2022). Which coincidentally happened to be the Alolan starter the kids ignored right out the gate for a singing seal mermaid and Tiger Mask as well as being less than 6 years old when slapped with the re-tool brush (if that were any other pokémon, if it were a TURNERMON, you all would be screeching how Game Freak "were embarrassed to have added it and are now trying to delete it without actually removing it").
