Not sure how many ways I can say it, but as I've said you're correct when referring to petroleum as containing carbon. However, that doesn't change the fact that nylon and polyester are produced via chemical synthesis, therefore making them synthetic. But what you're implying is that literally nothing is synthetic despite the fact that everyone except you considers nylon and polyester to be synthetic fibers.
