As a matter of fact, the assets are from so many eras that it makes total sense that there's a lot of weird stuff. Some guy just got ahold of some data. Hell, that's probably why we only got backsprites instead of like the Kaiju Zukan. In fact, something similar happened with Sun and Moon, where they thought they scrubbed all the Pokemon from the demo but actually left all the Pokemon Center healing sprites. If I had to guess, wherever they got the data from, the front sprites were scrubbed. Similarly, one of the maps is completely fucked, why would you fake a map like that with existing sprites when they also faked an older map with a bunch of older unique sprites? Things don't add up in a lot of ways, which makes me think there is some truth to it. So before you call people fools, actually do a little research in to what you're calling people fools for, you fucking retard.
