They don't even play the game, so all they know is that stall is bad because it's a buzzword and stealth rock is bad because it hurts the heckin Charizarderino. Therefore, stealth rocks is stall and heavy duty boots is good.
"Hypocrisy" is the wrong word, because that implies a level of understanding which /vp/ simply doesn't have.
