>How influential are the Leagues?Aside from Alola, I'd say it holds more power than the local government (even though we never had a mention of government, it probably exists, right?), also, in the games champions and elite 4 usually don't do much (or anything really), since it would take the adventure from our hands, but it's safe to assume they are the ones that protect the regions alongside GYM Leaders, as such, they probably maintain at least a minimal amount of communication with the Leagues of other regions, in case a problem so big they need more help appears, but normally it would be just periodic reports stating that the region is doing fine (with varying amounts of details).
