>>47262709Just don't get too sucked in that you lose everything, though the game I feel is designed in a way that "makes" you pay for it. Otherwise, you'll find yourself having to look up Zinfogel videos on how to beat a super hard level with forgettable characters.
If you ask me why I still play it, it's for the art and story. Seriously. The concept of bringing all the characters from different generations into one game intrigues me. The paying part may be a turnoff to some, but the company has always been doing that to some extent (Celadon Game Corner, anyone?), and to see it in a gacha has a bit of a charm to it. Once again, IF you ever do decide to play it, don't fucking play it for the meta or you'll end up following it. I'd rather you play it for the waifus, that way you have some kind of a limit. And not buying characters you don't really like, but feel you have to, because they're game breaking or someshit.
Lately, they've been spewing a lot of content. Sometimes, or most of the time, they have content droughts. I prefer that, because I actually have other shit to do. If you don't have a life, you'll have yourself scrolling through /pmg/ looking through the sea or arguments or who's the best pair, for some kind of substance.....so you can wait 30 minutes to get your stamina up to 20-30 to get some stupid drink to unlock a level cap.
DON'T spend your money on pairs you don't want
