But for real, Gareth the Quagshire is dead. I used up all my Blizzard PP and it only hit ONCE! Even then it barely did half the health bar. A critical Dragon Pulse later and here we are. Stupid derp face, there goes my surfer.
Kingdra was merely annoying after I threw about a pound of sand in its face. Elayne ended up bringing it down. Incidentally, Charge being able to boost an electric move is cool, but it simultaneously raising Special Defense each time is amazing. Hyper Beam didn't do much when Kingdra finally broke through. Finally I used Rand and his Sunny Day Blast-Burn to kill her last Dragonair.
So I weighed my options and decided I still wanted a full-time surfer. But I did not see how I could get a Water Stone. Luckily; I still had not had a Route 44 encounter and grabbed something I have never used before: A Remoraid! (Which becomes an Octopus eventually for some reason) I looked up the Sniper ability cause of unfamilarity. Holy shit, it makes Critcal Hits do 3x Damage! Got to find a way to take advantage of this.
You may notice that Randor still does not have Zen headbutt. The grinding just got annoying and I knew it wouldn't help against Clair anyway. Better training spots are ahead.
Someone asked me last thread how i had a 2nd eevee. I bred it on route 34 at the daycare and had had no prior encounters. I had a ditto that I caught somewhere else. i asked in detail about people's opinions on it I think 2 threads ago. Even did a poll. no one had issue with it.
