because that's a complaint about Smogon's decisions in a specific tier. I want to hear reasoning against separating things into tiers in the first place.

No implementation of tiers will never be perfect of course, there will always be a Pokémon that's just too good for one tier but not good enough to shine in another, and no matter how you move the tiers around and no matter how many tiers you make there will be Pokémon with this problem. I've seen VGC fans who seem to hate tiers as a concept and not just Smogon's handling of them, and I want to hear their reasoning why tiers are bad.
