I have no reason to believe that the people genuinely outraged over Gamefreak's incomptency for SwSh isn't genuine because I seriously doubt there's fucking hooker and blow money to be made by getting outraged at a children's game. At least the people who complain about the "dexit" shit are probably actual fans of the series and not mouthbreathing Kantofetuses who probably played Pokemon GO a few years ago and completely dropped out of the series until recently.
that being said, there is actual money to be made with outrage culture (UnsleevedMedia or whoever is pretty notorious for this) but I feel like most people mad about SwSh are just tired of Gamefreak putting forth the least amount of effort possible with each new generation and focusing more on TPCI profit margins.
