6-4 right now, forgot to even play yesterday lol. A few thoughts from my matches both in-game and in Showdown testing:
Have not encountered a single Darkrai yet but way too many Arceus, which I can't even tell which form are in team preview. If TPCi were to do this kind of tournament again just have it like the '10 rules because Arceus is stupidly bulky and powerful. Meowstic+Xerneas is very annoying to face as Meowstic basically guarantees Xerneas will get its Geomancy off, and then Dazzling Gleam starts nuking absolutely everything (and it can Helping Hand onto Xerneas too). Trick Room is seeming really strong from what I've seen, Dialga is probably the best settler in the game next to Cresselia. Also, Mega Kangaskhan being able to stand up fearlessly against Ubers is a wee bit disgusting.
Here's the stuff I pulled from my boxes. a few hours before the competition started. Thought bringing back the Cress/Thundurus/Heatran trio from Gen 5 would work its magic again but alas, Heatran has been mostly useless in the matches I've played, and I should run a different kind of Cresselia if I use it again. Thundurus is fantastic in this meta though, as Taunt/Thunder Wave shuts down so many things. Would also be using a Mewtwo X if I had a physical Mewtwo with Drain Punch in my boxes, but I forgot to pull one off Pokecheck before it closed, so I had to settle with Mewtwo Y, which gets completley demolished by Sucker Punch and stinks. Loving using Abomasnow + Kyurem-W, Kyurem's Blizzards hit like an absolute truck. If I were to do this again, I would probably make a Trick Room team with Dialga.
tl;dr- would like to do this tournament meta again now that I have some idea what I gotta counter.
