I'm biased because Toxapex is my favorite Pokemon from Gen 7, but I love that James got a Mareanie, and that the subplot with them is as funny as it is. For once there's a "TRio being nice" episode that I can feel good about, since there's a greater than 50% chance that James isn't going to go from saving his Mareanie from a Tentacruel in one episode, to doing sociopath shit in the next. I'm going to ignore the inevitability that he's going to send Mareanie back to Giovanni once SM is over though.
