Started up an Emerald run. Why yes, I am doing an Autismlocke out of order. Why? Because fuck you
Anyways, run's gone incredibly smoothly so far, with Grant and Rickenback tearing through the early game like nobody's business, with Grant stomping Roxanne and Wattson and Rickenback beating Brawly with literally 0 issues.
In fact, the toughest battles this run have been May 2 (where I almost lost Rickenback), and a double battle east of Mauville that required me to do some really risky double switches and pray to not get parahax'd
In terms of the team going forward, I'm fairly confident I can beat most of what's coming up, but the actual team composition leaves a bit to be desired. I'm trying to get Isabella up to speed because I know for sure her stally bullshit will be incredibly useful down the line. I'm also hoping Joan Arc can finally pull her weight after taking forever to evolve. I highly doubt either Cook or Stonewall are going to stay for long, especially since there's some strong Normal types coming up to replace the latter, and the former is a Water type on a team with two other, really good Water types already.
>>48713883Run's looking good so far anon! I've been meaning to do a gen 1 run but I always find myself going back to gen 3 for my Nuzlocke fix. Perhaps after this it'll change.
>>48713668I absolutely love the concept of your challenge btw. Who's been the MVP so far?
