You know, with how many generals I've been a part of over the years, no matter what board, no matter the subject matter, there's always that one poster that everybody wants to leave, yet continue to give them (You)s when they show up, like somehow engaging with someone is the best way to get rid of them. And yet every board, every thread, people still do it. And it's not like not replying to them won't work. I've seen it work because a small, niche community collectively silently agreed to stop giving them attention, and while it took 3 weeks, eventually they fucked off and left. It's impressive how almost no thread to understand how to just do that.
