Guys, I'm in a rough patch. I'm working under a Pokemon Professor at the moment for my Pokemon PhD, and things are difficult. See, he I'm in a temperate rain forest and he wants me to go out and document as many of the local pokemon as I can.
Isn't this the kind of job you give to local ten year olds? I mean, I did this for a different professor when I was a kid. Anyway, I'm doing it again and hopefully it will prepare me for my future as a professor.
Pic related: I'm starting easy and getting pictures of the more common wildlife. I left some berries in the trash and voila! These little guys showed up! Not all of them were friendly, you can see the one in the middle growled at me when I tried to get too close.
Do you guys think I'm screwing up my future with such lackluster graduate work? I have no idea what my area of focus should be.
