Mostly because i like the character but yeah it's a pretty damn good sync nuke (honestly his biggest problem is that masked royale exists). His first sync (even without a support EX sync, normally I run him with like Sawyer to nerf the team) will either kill completely or put within 3 bar move damage range on the left sidemon in CSMM for turn denials. I'll admit, not particularly good damage in the mean time, but fun unit to throw around when you have a third slot open, potion and endure comes in handy sometimes too. Far from the worst gacha.
