>>55549482It's really interesting to see the evolution and different experience. Started with yellow, kids playing with RBY on their gameboys in primary school and then later Glod and silver. by the time Ruby and sapphire arrived it was middle schooland people stopped playing pokemon publicly. I was the only autist playing BW in highschool while others, slightly less autisitic kids used emulators on their phones to play pokemon red and also Minetest and normies played Flappy bird or whatever FOTM slop was popular atm. It wasn't until college it was more soccially acceptable to play pokemon as an almost grown ass adults. Plus the return of the pokemania and pokemon go happenned a few years later.
I'm glad that you had fun with friends in middle school, anon.
Now pokemon is becoming a transgenerational phenomenon, players of the first generations are having kids of their own, it's the end of our journey and the beginning of it for the new kids.
