>>53481554I’m going to take the easy way out and say that one shouldn’t disparage the other by any means, especially since both are difference experiences considering that one is a fanfiction, and the other is a doujin. Even though they have similar plots and similar beats to said plot, ADD has to set up a ship that never existed before, while HT! is already able to jump into what people want to see because Pearl is a long established ship. They’re different enough fundamentally where I’m not comfortable picking one over the other.
