a. extremely unsatisfying and nowhere near as interesting as anybody thinks it will be (explains how heath saw a paradox donphan before the machine and nothing else)
b. straight-up doesn't exist and the paradox beasts/swords will be the only paradox-related content in the dlc (unlikely, but still possible)
for point b, time travel is a really difficult thing to execute properly in fiction and this is game freak we're talking about, so there is a chance they just completely botched the execution of the time travel elements and thought the current ending was good enough (it wasn't)
