Somehow, despite my previous victories being 0 seconds and 1 second, I beat it with 14 out of 30 seconds left. Spent 2 great balls at 42% but I'm still over 60k coins and it's a dead week so back to the cat. I can only imagine the hell that is Deoxys. Of course, I doubt I'll be trying that one itemless like I did with Rapidash.
