Tower anon here again, back from work, now with a name.
It looks like most of the hard work is literally already done. We just need to figure out how to create the entry in the battle tower. This is so copy/paste we could potentially get something working in the next couple days. I'm gonna sleep on this and then pour through the source some more.
Step 1: dump everything regarding the battle tower.
Step 2: Copy/paste functions to victory
Step 3: figure out which flags we need to trigger to allow the game to track that the player actually beat spark/blanche. We can get a good start by examining Candala's battle tower encounter.
You don't need talent to help, just gumption and a drive to make the game better. The more of us work together, the more likely we are to collectively figure it out.
In regards to standardized notes in the source...
double semicolon sounds good, just make sure to note your name/screenname and if possible, date and reference the current thread for timestamping purposes.
For now lets keep our notes on the google doc, just for the sake of keeping everything in one place. I made a new tab called "Battle Tower Project" that I'll be adding to in the morning, feel free to start dumping anything that seems relevant.
Remember; you don't need to be talented, just determined. Let's make prism the game it was meant to be, together.
