it's the 'eterna-' naming that made me suspicious. a lot of nematode testing is w/r/t determining how individual cells age/how the overall organism ages, and they have ridiculously long lifespans by default
also, the original name 'meteodyna' seems like a loose anagram of 'nematode'
as much as ive grown to like this theory, its design seems to be based on a scrapped idea for necrozma's dragon form. the possibility they wanted to base a dragon on a nematode seems slight
