If this messed up world we live in spent the kind of money on healthcare treatments and cures that we do on weapons to kill one another, this anon and many, many others wouldn't have to suffer because we'd have more cures. Also more focus on eradicating the disease, rather than keeping patients hooked on medication just so the pharmaceuticals can profit from treating the symptoms instead of targeting the source. Sorry, don't mean to derail this cozy thread and I won't express anymore anger on this subject, but I just felt the need to vent.
I'm glad at the very least this anon has a very dear and loving friend looking after and supporting them.
