...They seriously need to make Mew obtainable through normal gameplay at some point. I don't see the logic in keeping it as some special unobtainable Pokemon for all eternity.
In a future game, I'd like to see them add a challenging sidequest that can be accessed relatively early in the game, and it lets you obtain a low-level Mew that you can train and use on your team.
