Haven't played for a bit, but continued today. Had some very rough battles in Reversal Mountain, but survived all of those by a sliver. My luck finally ran out just south of Undella Town, where a Gurdurr started Dynamic Punching the crap out of my team. Silver Chariot was the first to fall and I knew I needed another death to continue, thought that Gigalith was an option that would maybe survive and also wouldn't be as big of a loss as Stroheim or Narancia.
Either way I caught a Staryu (Star Platinum), Swablu (Weather Report) and Remoraid (Polpo) which evolved into my favorite Pokemon Octillery. Those 3 are very useful, I really needed some Special Attackers. I still have a few encounters left before the next gym, so I will take my time getting those and grinding in the meantime, maybe I'll grind up some Pokemon I haven't used so far even.
