I kept playing the franchise up until Gen 7 because I like monster catching/training games.
I withheld buying gen 8 because my #1 favorite Pokemon bro wasn't in it and I continued to avoid buying it when I saw how ass the game is.
Now I just fap to and make Pokemon fetish porn of gen 1-7 mons.
I'll be fully released from this franchise if Gen 9 ends up being just as bad, or if some company finally makes a decent monster catching game that I haven't already beaten.
