I spent fuckin... god like 7 hours yesterday, training up a team for the gym, and guess what, I still had to cheat and give them all perfect EVs, because there was no EV training areas, no macho brace, no hordes, no power items, until two gyms down the line, and no access to TMs.
And despite this game using Gen 6 EXP Share (Which also isn't available until the 6th gym) It decided to go back to one-use TMs. And then give you shit ones.
But all of that, I could almost forgive... until the game started giving pokemon illegal movesets.
I was doing the 5th gym, it's a dark gym. Ignoring how the Dark Gym Leader has Mega Mawile and Sylveon while I won't have access to Mega's until after Gym 7, they lead with a Zoroark, now, I expected Extrasensory, since that's a counter to fighting types. Oh how foolish I was, it had Psychic. Now... I just figured this was a new TM it could learn, so I had a Psychic TM and a Zoroark, and guess what? It can't learn Psychic still.
And considering the last gym had perma-rain that you couldn't clear with no weather setters available? I was done. I had no desire to treat the game fairly, and Cheat Engine'd my EV training all done.
