On this day of 19th August ten years ago, the epic three parter battle between Satoshi and Shinji finally came to its thematic conclusion, with the former finally coming out victorious against the latter (excluding the Pokering victory earlier in the series), and doing so with the help of Infernape, a Pokemon who as a Chimchar had been abandoned by Shinji. It was sweet karma for him, and both he and Satoshi finally settled their long standing grievances once and for all.
